Type Locality and Naming

Lithology and Thickness

The upper, Kayrubakska - gravels and clays with a thickness of 100 m.

Relationships and Distribution

Lower contact

Locally overlies the Kuruksay Fm (mid-Pliocene).

Upper contact

The Kayruba Fm is overlain at an angular unconformity by Middle Pleistocene and younger formations.
